Skylanders Giants: Something Big is Coming in 2012!

Skylanders GIANTS news...

In the Autumn of 2012, a direct-sequel to the 2011 game Spyro's Adventure will be released! Skylanders GIANTS will feature, as the title suggests, some larger figures and new gameplay mechanics. As you can see in the screenshot and Movie, there is quite a size difference.

Skylanders GIANTS introduces eight new characters to collect but in GIANT format! GIANTS are twice the size of normal Skylanders. Additionally, there are the Bright Light characters which light up when placed on the good old Portal of Power.

Skylanders will add twenty fresh new character figures which will include 8 Skylanders GIANTS this autumn.

Most of the original characters will be re-released striking a new exciting pose. Some, but not all figures will light-up when placed on the new skylanders portal it is reported.

Skylanders Giants will be releasing a new expansion pack called Golden Dragonfire Cannon Battle Pack soon. This new Battle Pack will unlock and exclusive in-game battle arena to expand your gameplay experience. New figures included Chop Chop reposed, a new Giant  namely Shroomboom and The Golden Dragonfire Cannon.
